Way of Working

The support of reconnect to conversation is a real help for your organization.

Functional benefits:
- It allows you to re-open to earlier closed conversation
- no need to configure extra's on the email address for keeping the conversation open. The decision if entirely flexible to the user and organization
- in AMI R3.16 we support "sent messages" which makes it very user friendly to show previous conversations and to decide when to reconnect

Keep in mind. Their are two system limits and what we know, one  functional restriction:

Limits
1. conversation has to be connected by user. This means no reconnect when disconnected by permission from AMI list or show by (by Conversation > Communication > Disconnect)
2. when the conversation is older then 31 days closed. In this case the conversation thread is closed.
See images below

Restriction

The history tread is not by default available to add to a re-connected conversation.
This means no previous body/content available of the current message ID. Alternative is to manually copy/paste the required body/content into the re-connected conversation ID
